ABOUT ZEITGEIST

Willie Geist has maintained since 1996 that the Internet, like the automobile and the television before it, is a fad. He gets his information from microfiche at the public library and communicates with friends through the good old-fashioned United States Postal Service, thank you very much.

So then why is he blogging? Two words: community service. After an ugly incident at his weekly Sudoku game, Willie was sentenced to speak to young people about anger management. He heard that "young people" looked at the Internet, so the blog became his punishment. It's Willie's way of giving back.

In Zeitgeist, you'll find the kind of expert analysis of news and pop culture that has made Willie one of the most beloved figures in American life today (you can look it up). You'll also get raw, behind-the-scenes footage from MSNBC. You'll even get to talk back to Willie. So give the blog a try and catch the Internet fad before it's gone for good.

Will the Hypocrisy All Stars soon be in playoffs
with the Congressional Zombies?
PARDONS BY PRESIDENTS
Dwight Eisenhower  1157
Lydon B Johnson 1187
Richard Nixon 926
Jimmy Carter 566
Bill Clinton 456
Gerald Ford 409
Ronald Reagan 406
George H. Bush 77 (includes most of the men involved in Contra-Costa)
I personally believe that Sen. Vitter was wrong in what he did by all accounts but by the media focusing on this issue as a top story is ridiculous! We can't start baggering public officials because of affairs they may or may not have had. They are normal people too;just in the public eye. By Larry Flynt getting involved now there will be whistle blower comming out of the woodwork.(some probly credible but most probly girls just wanting attention) I don't want to see this over shadowing the current issues at hand or the 2008 election.
As a southerner, I've LOL'd over Sen. Vitter.  Just me, but I think he should take his lead from another great Louisiana hypocrite, the Rev. Jimmie Swaggert.  If Sen. Vitter can cry a few croc tears and sling a little snot, so much the better.

What's worse than dressing up as a movie character?  Actually thinking you're a movie character.  For that affliction you go to a nice vacation place where you eat finger foods and write with crayons.
You need to add Tucker to your list of hypocrisy all-stars! How does this guy stay on the air? I think Fox noise is looking for a hack Tucker why don't you dance your way over there.
Tucker is right up there with Geist; while both are intellectuals they offer the sarcastic, disparaging, arrogant (just a dose, these guys aren't pompous) side of political "know it alls"....How can you insult Tucker? What is this world coming to.....Hey, I tell you what, if you don't like Tucker, who happens to be an MSNBC icon, dance your way over to Fox News, where they lie, and you comply
