There may be justice after all.  The gentleman who actually was preferred by the majority of the American people, but whose votes were rejected by a right-wing Supreme Court, will go down in history with an impeccable biography - a gentleman on the campaign trail (not resorting to slime as the GOP did), a humanitarian and patriot, a respected representative of our government for over 20 years,  and finally a figure for the ages with his most memorable dedication to promoting the survival of our planet.

An English court has declared tht Gore's "documentary" has nine(9) serious scientific flaws, bsed on the testimony of a panel of physists and chemists-and that the film can be shown to school children only if accompanied with written and verbal instruction that the serious flaws are described and clarified----guess the Nobel committee, did not want to know what is really true.

A Heartfelt Congratulation to Al-Gore for winning the Nobel Peace Prize. This is only the first step to the awareness of the people of the world. This will delay environmental disaster by a decade or so. If the Nations of the world would strive hard to switch to renewable energy sources it will delay disaster by another 50 years. It will not stop it.

The reason is all these efforts will decrease the rate of increase of CO2 in the atmosphere. There must be efforts and sound Scientific methods to lower CO2 from the atmosphere. I proposed one way to reduce the use of Petroleumv and Coal(greatest sources of Carbon) in my earlier posts.By using Genetic Engineering to produce quick growing trees, giant vegetables, Potatoes, Beets etc and use them to produce Alcohol. Technology exists for such use. Molecular Biologists at Monsanto should be consulted because they have most experience in Genetic Engineering.

Think of the possibility of a sapling growing to a tree in 5 years instead of 50 years. New York City has plans to plant million trees in the next few years. If those trees are Genetically Engineered to become full fledged trees in five years instead of fifty years.

There are methods to grow giant vegetable like 100 pound cabbage, 10 pound Sweet Potato for examples.

Even adapting these methods will not eliminate the disaster completely only delay it. Because Carbon in these processes will only be recycled not sequester it. I am going for lunch, after that I will post some thoughts on this subject.
